A Taste of Russian is a very well-made and interesting podcast series covering Russian cultural and social topics at an intermediate (roughly AS - A2) level. The podcasts are about 10 minutes and usually start with a short dialogue or monologue of about 3 minutes, which the narrator then discusses in more detail, explaining idioms and offering more examples of how a phrase can be used. It's all in Russian, so it's very good practice of hearing people talking about language, and working out the meaning of words through explanations and context, rather than using a dictionary.
You can download the podcasts from Itunes or from their website, although be warned that Google has deemed the site a dangerous one, so use it at your own risk.
